RJW Foundation

The RJW Foundation is a nonprofit corporation under Chapter 317A of the Minnesota Statutes with the general purpose to foster and promote religious, charitable, scientific, literary or educational aims as those defined in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The RJW Foundation seeks to advance and promote such aims in its own behalf or as agent, trustee or representative of others so doing. The RJW Foundation also seeks to aid and assist individuals, corporations, associations or institutions that are engaged in furthering any one or more of the aims named above. The RJW Foundation does not respond to solicitations and targets smaller endeavors where it is able to best utilize its limited resources to effect positive change in our community and world.

The RJW Foundation was created in 1996 by Rodney and Jenifer Wilson to foster and promote the religious, charitable, and educational causes they were engaged with and felt called to support. The acronym RJW stands for both their initials and Reverence for Jesus’ Word. The primary focus of its charitable support and philanthropic activity is based on the ministry of Christ and the message he spoke in the Gospels. The RJW Foundation contributes financial grants and provides philanthropy through direct charitable activity that includes the following examples of social justice ministries and educational programs that it promotes:
